EASY PLANT DIY: Just when you thought houseplants couldn’t get any cuter…introducing air dry clay mushroom plant pokes. 
Learn how to make this fun project for your plants!
SUPPLIES + DIRECTIONS:
1. Use either craft wire or a clothes hanger- cut into 3″-4″ pieces.
2. Roll the air dry clay into 1” and 2” balls
3. Shape the clay into a mushroom cap and stem. To smooth cracks, use a wet fingertip
4. Stick the wire up through the bottom middle of the stem until it just about touches the tip of the cap (but doesn’t go through).
5. Let mushrooms dry overnight, then paint using acrylic paint. When I made this with my 7 year-old, we totally skipped the drying part as we both got impatient to start painting and ours turned out just fine.
6. Poke into a plant + enjoy!
